The founder chairman is having over 68 years of experience in shipping industry and the other directors of the company possess over thirty years of experience in shipping field. The top managements experience is the backbone of the company with which we provide excellent service to the trade.
Ours Is a family organization. We are one of the pioneers in shipping industry with over six decades of experience. Our Chairman, Mr. A. Venkataraman in this line Since 1937. He is actively involved in day-to-day operations of the company.
The group is presently managed by his sons Mr. V. Rajgopal, Managing director and Mr. K.V. Srinivasan, Jt. Managing Director.
Mr. Rajgopal has started his career in shipping in 1976 with a Steamer Agency, who were agents for: Croatia Line (Formerly Jugolinija), Rijeka, Croatia; COSCO, PR of china; contilines (Formerly Continental Lines), Antwerp, Belgium; CNAN, Algeria; Sudan Lines, Port Sudan; and many other liners.
Mr. Srinivasan has started his career in shipping in 1976 with another Steamer Agency, who were agents for: Scandinavian Joint Service; Waterman Isthhmian Line; royal Viking Line ( Luxury Liners), K-Line , and many other liners and he was the tool to start the operations of K-Line operations in Chennai.
The above Executives were handling the entire vessel operations of Steamer Agency, viz., Entry & Clearance, Berthing of Vessels, Import & Export Cargo Operations Breakbulk, Container, Roro, Barges, etc., Marketing, claims, Accounts, Feeder Operations Leasing and All other relevant Operations. They are all versed in shipping line and over a period of time have developed full knowledge and close contacts with statutory government Organizations viz., Reserve Bank of India, Income-Tax Department, Customs, Port, etc.
